About this place
Breakfast at Momo is built around thick-cut toast, with plenty of options to suit the mood. Diners who have eaten there in the morning recall trying different toppings, including butter, mentaiko, egg and cheese, and describe the slices as substantial. The menu ranges from butter and jam toast to honey-yuzu toast, scrambled-egg toast and mentaiko toast, making it easy to choose between a lighter start and a more filling breakfast. One diner paired butter-and-strawberry-jam toast with a latte; coffee, tea and café au lait are also available.
For lunch, there are rice dishes as well as breakfast fare, including fluffy omurice, hamburger steak and curry. Omurice can be ordered in a large portion, and one customer who ordered it to take away said it was even better than expected. A seasonal choice is the winter-only curry topped with Hiroshima oysters. One diner described the curry as pleasantly mild, with freshly fried, crisp oysters, and enjoyed it with salad, pickles and a drink after the meal.
For dessert or a pause in the day, there are cakes that change daily and coffee jelly served with ice cream. Breakfast and brunch are also offered, and Momo opens at 8 in the morning.
